I hope to hone my writing skills with this blog. There are several topics I'd like to play with such as: A series called "Skippin' Rocks" (which will be a series of short stories of growing up in rural Oregon. Hopefully, with the flavor of Patrik McManus' writing), political opinion, political humor with links to my favorite political humor site, random thoughts, and who knows what else.
My wife wants me to ghost write her idea into a book so I might not get into too much trouble with her on the time I spend on this. :)
Now I will start with an open letter to Senator Gordon Smith regarding his up-and-coming landslide loss to some stinking socialist hippie that runs against him in the next election cycle.
